Why this exists
The Odyssey in IMAX 70mm sold out for seven weeks at my theater. I am an engineer, so I did the unreasonable thing. I wrote a script that read the seat map every few minutes, all day, for weeks.
One Tuesday it buzzed my phone. Two center seats in row E had just come back. I bought them in ninety seconds at face value, while resale sites wanted eight hundred dollars. Then my friends wanted in. Then their friends. So I made it PrimeRow.
